TPEHA History

Terwillegar Park Estates Homeowners Association was formed in 1985 when the maintenance of the common areas was turned over by the developer to the City of Edmonton. At the time, a group of residents identified the need for a homeowners association to coordinate the upkeep of the common areas with the City of Edmonton and, as required, to improve upon the maintenance of these areas. These areas include front entrance gates, Ronning Street Park, walkways, tree-lined paths, and cul-de-sac islands.

What does the association do for you?

Over the years, your Homeowners Association has funded and/or undertaken a number

of activities for the betterment of our neighbourhood. Specific activities include:

▪ Provide landscaping and flowers at Romaniuk Gate entrance

▪ Install and maintain a snowbank skating rink in Ronning Street Park during the

winter

▪ Paint common area fences on walkways and in the park

▪ Coordinate a neighbourhood Fall coffee party

▪ Represent homeowners to the City and the Provincial Government and other

liaison groups

▪ Work with and represent TPEHA with the Riverbend Community League

▪ Coordinate with City officials regarding possible community enhancement and

park redevelopment.

▪ Maintain a neighbourhood Facebook page, website, Ronning Street Rink Community

The Terwillegar Park Estates Homeowner Association is a legal entity established to promote and maintain the quality and the value of the properties within our community by caring for the common areas, such as the Ronning Street Park and the entrances to the neighbourhood.
